The AJ Bay Foundation has been raising money through various events over the past 7 years, primarily for the BC Mental Health Foundation and the Vancouver Community College Music Program. The foundation was started in memory of our good friend Anthony John (AJ) Bay to try to preserve his memory by giving back to the things that played such an important and positive role in his life.
Now, 7 years since its inception, we are stepping up our game and bringing a fantastic opportunity to all of our loyal supporters. The AJ Bay Memorial Golf Classic has the potential to raise far more money for these very important charities than all of our previous events combined. We are very excited to get everyone together to play a game that AJ loved, enjoy each other’s company for an afternoon and offer everyone a chance to give a little back to the things that meant so much to AJ throughout his life.
The first edition of this event took place on March 8th, 2014, bringing together experts from medical and fitness backgrounds, to entertain, discuss and challenge how today’s runners and walkers prepare for competition.
