The UBC Grand Prix, presented by Mahony & Sons Public House, was part of BC Superweek and featured a Pro/Am Criterium Race open to male and female cyclists, competing for over $10,000 in prize money. That may sound intimidating, but this annual event does have a race for every level of cyclist, male or female.
Along with multiple adult races, Still Creek Press was a key sponsor for the Kids Zone and Kids Race for our second year, working alongside another key sponsor, McDonalds. The Kids Race made the day a true family event, helping to promote the sport; while having the Kids Zone to enjoy before and after their race meant the kids had no shortage of activities to keep them occupied all day long.
This year’s event was an even bigger success than last year, and we believe the event will continue to grow.
