Still Creek Press is equipped to work with you in either the traditional workflow methods (handing off to us your digital file produced in its native application) or in the more contemporary use of PDF file submissions. Our Mac and PC Workstations have current software installs capable of processing just about any file format.

What is Adobe PDF?

Adobe Systems Incorporated, creators of the Portable Document Format, have posted an excellent brief describing PDF, accessible via this link to the page on their web site.

The Adobe Acrobat PDF file format can be very reliable and efficient for submitting jobs to us. The format allows creation of a single file package that includes all text, fonts and graphics with optional compression and down sampling. The resulting PDF file is optimized to minimize file size reducing storage requirements and improving file copy/transmittal, and print times. PDF files are platform independent and can be opened, viewed, edited or printed on a wide variety of operating systems.
