As an established industry leader within the Metro Vancouver area, we believe the contribution to the future generations of the printing industry is vital. We have done this by donating a bursary to the British Columbia Institute of Technology to honor a student exhibiting academic excellence in a professional print program.
We would like to congratulate BCIT student Caitlin Gilchrist for being awarded this year’s Still Creek Press Award. The Still Creek Press Award is an annual academic achievement award which was originally established in 2007. The award is presented to the graduate who received the highest averages in the final year of their program.
BCIT’s Graphic Communications Technology program is a 2 year diploma program which incorporates all facets of the professional print industry from prepress to finishing. Students who complete the program are equipped with the skills and knowledge to prosper in the printing industry.
