The Canadian Bar Association
The Canadian Bar Association (CBA) is the leader and voice of Canada’s legal profession and is a professional, voluntary organization representing 38,000 lawyers, judges, notaries, law teachers, and law students from across Canada. Every year the CBA hosts events, like the CBABC Branch Conference, in order for it’s members to obtain their required credits of Law Society Continuing Professional Development.
Canada Water Week
Canada Water Week is a week-long celebration of water from coast-to-coast-to-coast, starting mid March and culminating on World Water Day on March 22. Individuals, organizations and governments across the country are encouraged to get involved by organizing or participating in fun and educational events.
SFU Student Marketing Association
Student Marketing Association (SMA) is Simon Fraser University’s creative and innovative marketing-based student club. Students from all faculties join together in this organization to gain skills in marketing, event coordination, and leadership, planning numerous social and professional events throughout the year.
Vancouver Killarney Minor Lacrosse Association
Vancouver-Killarney Minor Lacrosse Association (VKMLA) is the governing body responsible for administering Canada’s National Summer Sport for youth aged five to sixteen throughout Vancouver. It is a small association with just over 200 players both in box and field lacrosse.
